I first heard of OpenID ages ago.
You can read more about it here
I have now added a plugin that makes this site OpenID aware.
If you have an openID then feel free to use that to sign up, otherwise you can continue to use standard user names and passwords.
The list of other sites that use OpenID is growing here, long may it continue to grow !

Changes to this site
I got some time to spend on this site this evening.
The most obvious change is the visible one, I have changed the theme to the Mogle theme, I like the three column layout better than the old two column layout. I also prefer the black, white and orange scheme.
The next visible change is the addition of the Subscribe2 plugin. If you register as a user of this site you can receive an e-mail alert when new posts are made. Alternatively you can just stick with the RSS feeds. There are made more prominent by this theme as well.
The last change is the addition of the WordPress.com Stats plugin which will allow me to see how many visitors I get.
Took me ages to work it out. Normally when I post to my site it updates my Twitter.
I had changed my Twitter password and forgot to update it here.

Web 2.0 Blah Blah Blah
I’m not sure that I “beleive” in the whole Web 2.0 social everything hype; but I’m not shy to try things.
I’m currently investigating FaceBook and Twitter.
If everything goes to plan then creating this page should appear in my Twitter.
Here Goes !
I have created the page https://rossgoodman.com/social-networking/ to track my progress.
Comment Spam
For some reason, one of the posts on here is attracting some spam comments.
I’m fiddling with the settings slightly to try and block them with the least impact, not that there are a lot of “valid” comments so far !
Technorati
I have just joined Technorati Technorati Profile
OK, I have decided to flick the switch and move this to the top level of my site and make it visible to the public.
Previously I have been using some other, content management systems; Typo (couldn’t get to work using PlusNet hosting) and Mambo (I just found it too confusing and time consuming to get to grips with.
Next task it to try and integrate some sort of photo gallery into this site. I have a coppermine site but I would really like something integrated and seamless.
