I’m just testing a new feature – nothing to see here : yet !
I ordered a DVD for my wife for Christmas in December. I have used Play before and have never had any issues.
This time, the DVD did not arrive.
I had to wait 21 days before I could claim a replacement.
Cue no DVD for my better half !
After 21 days, without any quibbles Play agreed to ship a replacement.
Unfortunately, the DVD was not out of stock. I received an e-mail on 7th January to inform me of this.
To date I have still not received the DVD.
This was the last thing I imagined i would write about when I set up this site but….
Elaine and I were out shopping in Glasgow last weekend and decided to treat ourselves to a nice meal out. We were walking past the Thai Lemon Grass and thought we would give it a go.
It’s funny how your mind works, someone told me today that there were only six weeks until Christmas and my initial thought was of the six week challenge to do 100 consecutive pushups !
I faltered previously at week fix then subsequent events have meant that I have not been in the mindset for restarting this.
Tonight I went back and restarted at week 3, level 2 …… and failed.
Marching season is upon us. This year it was Larkhall’s honour to host a large procession.
It was intermittently rainy but there were smiles everywhere. Quite a bit of staggering as well as the marching ! I never saw any trouble or raised voices.
The police were out in force, I saw a few discrete conversations, but on they whole the police seemed to be in a fairly jovial mood too.
